![]() Since Starliege Photon Blast Dragon makes it easy to Special Summon Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon, stealing your opponent’s strongest monster and using it against your opponent is a simple feat. But if you have Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon on the field, you can take any monster your opponent controls. If you don’t control Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon when you activate Photon Hand, you can only target an Xyz Monster with Photon Hand’s effect. ![]() You maintain control of the monster stolen by Photon Hand regardless of how many turns pass while that monster is on the field. Photon Hand’s effect isn’t temporary, either. Photon Hand takes control of that targeted monster. If you control a “Photon” or “Galaxy” monster, you can activate Photon Hand by paying 1000 Life Points and targeting a monster on your opponent’s field. And this Spell Card – Photon Hand – is one of the most powerful Spell Cards at a Photon Duelist’s disposal. Now, a new Spell Card in Legendary Duelists: White Dragon Abyss lets you take Number cards from your opponent, just like Kite did. In the Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal animated series, Kite used his “Photon Hand” ability to steal his opponents’ souls and take their Number cards after defeating them in a Duel. You can send it to the Graveyard while it’s equipped to a monster to add any “Photon” or “Galaxy” monster from your Deck to your hand, except for Photon Orbital. If you’re not looking to give your monster a 500 ATK boost or protection in battle, Photon Orbital also has another effect you can use. Equip Starliege Photon Blast Dragon with Photon Orbital to increase its ATK to 2300 and also prevent your Starliege Photon Blast Dragon from being destroyed or targeted by your opponent’s card effects. A monster equipped with Photon Orbital gains 500 ATK and can’t be destroyed by battle. You can equip Photon Orbital to that monster whether your Photon Orbital is on your field or in your hand. ![]() Photon Orbital is a new Level 4 monster that can equip to a “Photon” or “Galaxy” monster you control during your Main Phase. Starliege Photon Blast Dragon’s 1800 ATK falls a bit short from allowing it to protect itself, but there’s a card in Legendary Duelists: White Dragon Abyss that can change that. Since Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon has 3000 ATK, it’ll fall under the protection of Starliege Photon Blast Dragon after Starliege Special Summons it to the field. Starliege Photon Blast Dragon not only Summons Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon to your field with ease, but it also protects it! While it’s on the field after being Xyz Summoned, your opponent can’t target monsters you control with 2000 or more ATK with card effects, and those monsters can’t be destroyed by your opponent’s card effects. Once per turn during your opponent’s turn, you can also activate Starliege Photon Blast Dragon’s Quick Effect to detach an Xyz Material from it and Special Summon a Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon from your Graveyard or banished zone. If Starliege Photon Blast Dragon is Xyz Summoned, you can use its effect to Special Summon any Photon monster from your hand, including Kite’s signature Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon. It has 1800 ATK and 2500, and can be Xyz Summoned by combining any 2 Level 4 monsters. Starliege Photon Blast Dragon is a new Rank 4 monster that makes Special Summoning Photon monsters easier than ever before. Starliege Photon Blast Dragon is the first of the new Photon cards in Legendary Duelists: White Dragon Abyss. Legendary Duelists: White Dragon Abyss gives Kite’s Photons a big boost and grants Number hunters around the world more power for them to use to defeat their rivals! He used his ace monster, Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon, to overwhelm his opponents and counter their Xyz-based strategies. Kite was a legendary Duelist during the Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal era who collected Number monsters from Duelists after defeating them in a Duel. One of those themes is based around Kite Tenjo’s “Galaxy-Eyes” and “Photon” cards. Legendary Duelists: White Dragon Abyss launches on September 28 th, 2018 and introduces new support for popular themes in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game.
